The Biblical rich history of oils and anointing offer us a glimpse into how God desires us to care for our bodies and one another.

The history of anointing oils, sacramental oils and the proper place of essential oils in our lives is worth rediscovering. I want to help you unpack the beauty, symbolism and practical support essential oils can offer. We will avoid over spiritualizing the use of essential oils and blurring the lines between science and myth. Rest assured plants were intended to be healing and uplifting and we can use them powerfully in the form of essential oils.

What aroma do we take with us wherever we go? Are we fragrant in our charity and sweet in our expression to others? Essential oils are supportive for our life of prayer, discipline, outreach and evangelization. Let us bring life to those around us.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. 2 Cor. 2:15-16

We feel strong that the support oils offer for the health of individuals is so strong that even our religious should not be without them.  Essential Oils shouldn’t be a luxury item.

St. Hildegard von Bingen was a mystic, scholar, prophet, composer, moralist, herbalist and scientist. As an abbass of the 12th century who was a remarkable mother to her sisters and worked to discover and care for them thorugh unpresidented remidies. Unfortunately, she has been highjacked by New Agers and even the occult.  We want her back and we want to restor religious orders by sponsoring them with free essntial oils and financial support.
